Stunning results with sustainable solutions that are easy for your existing cleaning crew to maintain.

Are your commercial wood floors looking scratched or dull?

Natural, engineered, and laminate wood flooring is beautiful yet vulnerable. Without a professional preventative maintenance and wood floor restoration plan, these hard surfaces can become dull, scratched, and lacking in their original luster.

Your existing cleaning crew is excellent for day-to-day cleaning, but they may not have the time and training to properly preserve the appearance of your wood flooring and architectural finishes. Wood floors need specialized care to look fabulous, remain durable, and last a long time.

Hardwood is a porous surface making it susceptible to damage in a high-traffic setting like an office. Therefore, it’s essential to periodically deep clean wood floors and, where appropriate, add a protective sealant to prolong the luster and beauty of your wooden floors.

Liquid spills can stain and/or seep into seams causing your floor to warp.

Specialty surface care for wood floors that stand the test of time

Corporate Care’s IICRC®-certified technicians can deep clean and restore a wide array of wood surfaces. Properly caring for and maintaining these surfaces helps protect the investment you have made in these wood items while also helping them look their best and last. Some of the wood surfaces that our team can help you care for include:

  • Wood flooring (hardwood, engineered, and laminate)
  • Wooden doors and decorative finishes
  • Wooden lobby, conference room, or office walls
  • Wooden elevator interior walls and accents
  • Conference room tables and countertop surfaces

Restoration services for beautifully revived wooden floors

Wood flooring and surfaces need more than regular cleaning services. They may need restoration services when they lose their shine and luster, start looking worn or become faded. Restoration services will revitalize your wood flooring and wood surfaces to their former glory, helping them look nearly new again. Sealing and protecting surfaces should also be routinely done to create a barrier between the wood itself and any foot traffic or use, helping to extend the life of the wood.

Once your wooden surfaces are revitalized, our specialist teams can collaborate with your existing cleaning provider to ensure their daily processes and chemistry reflect best practices and warranty compliance to help extend asset life.

  • Repair and restore worn-out looking wood floors
  • Bring back your floor’s original luster
  • Refinish wood flooring
  • Add or change the color
  • Change the finish, matte or gloss
  • Create a clean, welcoming environment
  • Maintain compliance with warranties
  • Prolong the life of your wood floors with quality protective sealers

Don’t rely on untrained, uncertified cleaners to restore and maintain these surfaces. Improper maintenance and restoration services can permanently alter the original appearance of any hard surface flooring. We understand the nuances and how complex dealing with wood flooring products can be.

If appropriately maintained, natural hardwood flooring can last more than 100 years!

Frequently Asked Wood Flooring Questions

It depends on the hardwood floor type. However, for general cleaning and maintenance, we recommend vacuum with a soft floor nozzle (carpet beaters and brush rolls can damage the finish) or dry mopping daily and cleaning on a weekly basis with a neutral wood floor cleaning solution and a microfiber mop. Avoid using any harsh chemicals, bleaches, or acidic cleaners, which can damage your floors.

While your existing cleaning crew is in charge of cleaning your wood surfaces every day, they may not have the correct training, wood surface knowledge, or cleaning methods to give your wood surfaces the deep restorative care they need to stay in great condition and last a lifetime.

Our specialists perform the repair and restoration work necessary to prolong the life of your wood floors and create custom care plans to support your existing cleaning team and make your floors easier to maintain.

Hardwood flooring needs to be polished periodically. The cadence would be determined by the traffic load and the level of care or neglect the floor receives.

A hardwood floor may need to be restored if it is scratched, stained, or faded, looks worn, has lost its shine and luster, or if you are looking to refinish the floor to change or normalize its color.

There are many benefits associated with properly caring for and maintaining your hardwood floors and surfaces. Some of those benefits include:

  • Repair and restore dull, scratched, or dirty-looking floor
  • Restore the original luster of natural and engineered wood
  • Visual appeal and improved occupant satisfaction
  • Preventative maintenance in compliance with manufacturer warranties
  • Extend the asset life of natural and engineered wood surface

It is normal for certain species of hardwood floors that are exposed to sunlight to darken over time. We can refinish natural wood to restore and bring back the uniformity in color.

Follow the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning guidelines when dealing with stains. Use a damp cloth to blot stains and spills as quickly as possible to avoid permanent damage. Always avoid scrubbing a spot, as you can force the stain further into the pores and scratch the wood. Liquids left on a wooden surface can cause it to warp.

Wax-based finishes and cleaners or petroleum-based products should never be used on any sealed floors unless you know for sure that your floor has a wax finish, as the wax can damage the sealing product.

Enabling your floors, fabrics, and finishes to live long and prosper.
